Valparai Trip

Valparai sits high in the Anamalai hills of the Western Ghats — a plateau of endless tea estates, misty viewpoints, and waterfalls reached by one of India’s most iconic drives: the 40 hairpin bends. This trip layers scenic dams, tea gardens, river stops, and a campfire night on Day 1, then closes out with a waterfall-hopping Day 2 before the drive back to Bengaluru.

Day 0 — Departure from Bengaluru (Friday Night)

Board the AC Tempo Traveller from your nearest pickup point at 8:30 PM. Ice breakers, music, and easy conversation set the tone as Bengaluru fades behind you. Overnight journey via Pollachi to Valparai.

Day 1 — Tea, Hills & Good Vibes

The 40 Hairpin Bends: Wind up through the iconic hairpin bends via Pollachi — one of the most scenic ghat drives in South India.

Aliyar Dam: Take in the breathtaking views of the dam, framed by misty mountains and valley landscapes.

Valparai Tea Estates: Drive through endless green tea plantations, where the cool mountain air makes every turn memorable.

Nallamudi Poonjolai: Explore this scenic viewpoint, known for panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and deep valleys.

Koozhangal River: Refresh at this peaceful riverside spot — perfect for photos and a break from the drive.

Evening & Night: Settle into your homestay (3/4 sharing) and gather around the campfire for music, games, and fun activities under the misty Valparai sky.

Day 2 — Waterfalls & Scenic Views

Early Morning: Breakfast, then set off for a day of waterfalls and viewpoints.

Chinna Kallar Falls: A refreshing stop surrounded by dense greenery and Western Ghats mist.

Loam’s View Point: Scenic views of winding roads, mountains, and lush valleys.

Nirar Dam: A peaceful stop surrounded by forested hills.

Monkey Falls: Cool off at this ever-popular waterfall before starting the journey home.

Evening: Begin the scenic return journey to Bengaluru, tea-estate views fading in the rearview.

Terms & Conditions

• Maximum 30 travellers per batch.
• We maintain an equal male-to-female ratio for most trips.
• A minimum of 10 travellers is required to confirm a batch. If not met, you’ll be offered a transfer to another trip (subject to payment/refund of balance amount, if any).
• Mode of transport depends on group size.
• Arrive at pickup points at least 20 minutes before scheduled departure.
• Triptonique is not liable for damages or charges arising from natural disasters, civil unrest, accidents during transport/accommodation, government orders, infectious disease isolation, accidents during free activities, or food poisoning/theft.

Cancellation Policy

No refund is made on the initial booking amount for any cancellation or reschedule. Beyond that:

More than 3 days before trip	75% of trip cost
Within 3 days before trip	100% of trip cost

In case of unforeseen weather conditions or government restrictions, certain activities may be cancelled — we’ll try our best to arrange an alternate activity, but no refund will be provided for the same.
